About The Role

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our highly successful bid team. The Bid Manager will manage the bid cycle from opportunity identification, to submission, creating bespoke content for each client which directly meets their needs.

 

The role will involve:

· Monitoring and evaluating new opportunities

· Supporting the bid/no bid process

· Project managing the bid process from start to finish

· Producing high quality bid documents including writing and editing raw copy

· Collaborating with the wider bid team, business development team and wider business stakeholders.

 

The successful candidate will:

· Be confident

· Be effective

· Understand how to effectively work with others and obtain relevant subject matter information

· Have excellent time management and task prioritisation skills

· Understand how to identify client drivers and tailor content to these

· Have excellent writing and evaluation skills

· Be able to produce compelling copy for bids

· Be able to support other team members to produce high quality bid documents.

 

The successful candidate will have:

· Experience in a similar role, preferably within FM

· Excellent organisation skills and will be able to meet deadlines

· The ability to work effectively under pressure

· Flexibility towards working hours where required

· Highly developed writing skills, including grammar

· Excellent verbal communication skills

· Effective questioning skills

· Experience of procurement portals

· Attention to detail

· High level of IT literacy, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet research
