We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Night Kitchen Supervisor to oversee all culinary operations within our catering team based at Piccadilly W1A 1ER.
As a Night Kitchen Supervisor you will be responsible for managing food production, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and delivering exceptional service.
Shift Pattern:
- 8pm – 3am, 5 days per week including weekends
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving activities
- Manage and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of performance
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise efficiency
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, safety, and professionalism
Skills
- Proven experience in kitchen management and food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong management skills with previous supervising experience in a busy kitchen environment
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in culinary operations
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
